#Social #Workers play a really important role in making sure that people with #learning #disabilities are supported and have access to places like #Camphill #Community #Mourne #Grange. Social Work #students need to be able to spend time out on #placements #learning about the different areas and #service users they can work with. Since 2015 Camphill Community Mourne Grange has played an important role in regularly offering 2 to 4 placements every year. Last year and this year have raised many challenges for the #Northern #Ireland #Degree #Partnership. Because of #COVID there aren’t as many placement sites for the social work students to go to. Camphill Community Mourne Grange has helped by agreeing to take more students so from January to May #2021 we will have 5 wonderful social work students working with us in Camphill Community Mourne Grange. So far, they are enjoying their time with us and the chance to learn about lots of other things, for example making bread and looking after our hens.
