We also want to #celebrate the strength that we create through #peer #networking with other #organizations for example #ARC (#Association for #Real #Change). ARC supports many organization like #Camphill #Community #Mourne #Grange to come together and share about a whole range of issues. One example of this is supporting all of the #Safeguarding #Champions from across the region to share and learn from each other to ensure that we are all working together to support everyone to be safe. Camphill Community Mourne Grange has taken time to make a short #film to celebrate this connection with ARC and it will also form part of ARC’s celebrations for #Learning #Disability #Week. Another area of #positive work relates to the #questionnaires that we all have to complete to let #RQIA know what we think of our services. Our #Voices #Group worked with other #advocacy groups from across #NI to change the questionnaire to make it more meaningful and user friendly. Mr #Jim #McBride from RQIA has sent us a lovely letter giving us feedback about the questionnaire and how they are going to use it into the future when they are visiting services and talking to the people who live there. This has been a really valuable piece of work to ensure that the people we support are listened too and supported to achieve change.
