#Camphill #Community #Mourne #Grange is involved with a #policy #development #group called #Advanced #Care #planning. During #COVID it has been highlighted that not enough people take time to think about how they want to be cared for and what happens to them if they die. This can include thinking about #organ #donation and planning your #funeral. This is an area of #life that people with #learning #disabilities are often not involved in and families can make decisions for them. This policy group wants to make sure that everyone has the #opportunity to be listened to and included in this aspect of their plans. Camphill Community Mourne Grange is #contributing to this groups and #sharing how we support people to think about and plan and also how to make sure #information is in a format that can be understood by people with #different #needs.
