Everyone in #Camphill #Community #Mourne #Grange has worked well together as a team to keep the Community free from #COVID-19. #2020 has been a difficult year for everyone, and we are so thankful to everyone who supports us and also to the #Southern #Health and #Social #Care #Trust.
We were delighted to hear that we were going to be one of the first supported living facilities, for adults with learning disabilities, to receive the COVID-19 #vaccination. Everyone has had the opportunity to decide if they want the vaccination and over 120 of our residents, employees, house coordinators and volunteers all agreed to take the vaccination.
We are all a family here in Camphill Community Mourne Grange and everyone’s’ wellbeing is important us. We would particularly like to thank Tracey Rodgers, Head of Community Services #SHSCT and Pat Burke, Head of Support Living (Interim) SHSCT for their ongoing support of Camphill Community Mourne Grange throughout these difficult times and for arranging for us to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.
We would also like to thank Sonya McCusker and the wonderful team of nurses from the Southern Health and Social Care Trust who came to Camphill Community Mourne Grange on the 16th of December 2020 to administer the vaccine to all of us. They were friendly and professional and are working tirelessly to ensure as many people as possible are offered the vaccination. This has been a wonderful #Christmas present for everyone who lives and works in Camphill Community Mourne Grange.
