Dear family member/carer,
Camphill Mourne Grange has implemented all necessary precautions to protect our residents, co-workers and employees from COVID-19. We have taken our lead from guidance provided by the Health and Social Care Trusts, RQIA and the Department for Health.
Mourne Grange is going to focus on supporting essential services and will cancel all non-essential meetings and events. At this stage the workshops and some therapies will continue. This will be kept under review on an ongoing basis.
We are not closing Mourne Grange to visitors but have decided to put on hold all non-essential maintenance work to try to minimise the level of visitors. We would ask you to follow the precautions and guidelines and only visit if you feel it is necessary.
We understand that for some of our residents regular visits home are very important and we accept that some of these arrangements will need to be facilitated. Again we ask for you to follow advice and guidance and do not facilitate visits if you or any other family member are presenting with symptoms. Also if you are visiting your family member or supporting them to visit at home please avoid unnecessary social gatherings and contact.
We have considered a range of contingency measures to try and ensure that essential support is provided to all our residents, this includes self-isolation, staffing levels, supplies of food and medication and waste management.
Throughout this emergency situation we will endeavour to ensure that all Community members have access to clear information and guidance and provide a supportive culture to work as a team and look after each other.
We appreciate your support and patience during this tough time. We have taken these precautions to ensure the safety of all of our community members. We will continue to review the situation and ensure that you are updated on a regular basis.
Regards
Lizzy Dixon
Manager
