Mourne Grange 50th Anniversary

Thank you to all of our #friends, #families and #Community #members who joined us for our 50th #Birthday #celebrations on the 1st of #September. In #August of 1971 a small group from #Camphill Community #Glencraig moved to #Mourne #Grange to start a new Camphill community for #adults with #special #needs. #October 31st was an old #Celtic #festival, known as #Samhain. It was also the beginning of the #New #Year and marked the transition from summer’s end to the beginning of a long, unpredictable winter that could bring hunger and hardship.
