‘We Matter’ is a new plan for how #services for #people with #learning #disabilities are going to be changed. This will hopefully mean that services are better, and that people are involved in planning their own services. In #February last year a group of people from #Camphill #Community #Mourne #Grange went to #Belfast to take part in this process. Because of #COVID all of these plans had to stop. The process has now been restarted and a report has been drafted that includes everyone’s’ ideas and feedback about how services should be delivered for people with learning disabilities and their #families. Camphill Community Mourne Grange is going to take part in a #meeting to share what we think about the #report and if there is anything else that we need to think about or include. We are very lucky in Camphill Community Mourne Grange with the support and community life and #activities we have on offer. This is not the case for everyone with a learning disability in #Northern #Ireland and we need to get involved to support change so that everyone has the chance to access services and support that is right for them.
