#Camphill #Community #Mourne #Grange and Camphill #Holywood have #developed a #partnership that will bring the people of #Northern #Ireland the very best of #sustainably grown, #organic #vegetables and other #produce. These #veggies are grown with #love and #care in Camphill Community Mourne Grange, by #growers and #gardeners who love their work. The veggies and other produce are supplied to customers via the Camphill Holywood organic #shop, #bakery and #café by community #members. The growers and #suppliers include people with #learning #disabilities, #autism and other #needs who contribute in a #genuinely #inclusive #environment which adds #value and #meaning to people’s lives. As #customers, not only will your taste buds be delighted with the #quality of our organic produce but with each #mouthful you will be contributing to forging a better future and a more #sustainable #future for people and the environment.
It has been the vision of both communities to maintain the Camphill #ethos of sustainability, by working #together to #reduce #waste and reduce our #carbon #footprints and to #deliver and supply locally within Northern Ireland.
Camphill Holywood is a small Camphill community in the town of Holywood with an organic shop, bakery and café. The Camphill Community Mourne Grange is a large #intentional community in #Kilkeel with lush acres of #farm #land. Both communities provide life and work opportunities for people, some of whom have learning disabilities, autism and other needs.
“The well-being of a community working together will be greater, the less the individual claims the proceeds of his work for himself… the more of these proceeds he hands over to his fellow-workers, the more his own needs are satisfied, not out of his own work but out of the work done by others.” #RUDOLF #STEINER
